How can European industry address the energy challenges of tomorrow? A conference in Spa, Belgium, organised by the Walloon Minister for Economy and Belgian Federal Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate will take place on 16-17 September.

The conference will be chaired by Belgian Minister of Economy Jean-Claude Marcourt, and will also involve Paul Magnette, Belgian Federal Minister for Energy, Enviornment and Climate, and their counterparts in the European Commission, Commissioner Oettinger (for Energy) and Commissioner Tajani (for Industry). Around 300 participants from politics (cabinet-level and higher), business (executives) and civil society (academics, trade unions and NGOs) are expected over the two day event.
